Cookie & Storage Policy

What this site stores in your browser — and, just as importantly, what it does not.

Last updated: 21 June 2026

No tracking, no advertising

This site sets no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no third-party tracking cookies. It does not profile visitors, does not measure you across other sites, and does not share browsing data with advertisers. Because of this, there is no cookie-consent banner — there is nothing non-essential to consent to.

What the site does store

The site uses a small amount of functional localStorage in your browser to remember your display preferences between visits. Nothing in this storage identifies you, and it never leaves your device:

KeyPurpose
site-themeRemembers the visual theme you chose, so the site reopens the way you left it.
Reading-layout preferenceRemembers your chosen reading layout / display options for articles.

This is strictly necessary storage used only to deliver the display you asked for. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service the user has requested is exempt from consent. It is not used to track you.

Managing or clearing it

You can clear this storage at any time from your browser's site-data or "clear browsing data" settings. Clearing it simply resets your preferences to the defaults; the site will continue to work normally.

Third-party content

If a page embeds external content (for example a video player or a linked service), that provider may set its own cookies under its own policy. The site itself sets none of the tracking kind. For how the contact form and providers handle data, see the Privacy Policy.
